The Monkey is a mischievous fellow. Inquisitive, intelligent and a great problem solver, the Monkey is the "James Bond" of the Chinese Zodiac. No situation, no circumstance is to difficult for the skilled Monkey to find a way out of. Monkeys love problems, they love to solve them! You will always find a Monkey working on a Rubix's Cube, (remember those!) or brain teaser.

Monkeys will work long hours on a problem until it is solved. Because of this Monkeys are also valuable asset to any business. If you are having trouble with a difficult task, whatever it is, give it to Mr. Monkey and watch him go!!

However, Monkeys are alot like the Sheep before them. Monkeys don't follow a 9-5 schedule very well, they work on their own time and work best alone. You may not see the Monkey for awhile at work, they are resting. And then...POW!! They will go 48 hours straight, with no sleep allowed, until whatever project is finished and solved. If given leeway and room to work, the Monkey is a great catch for the business office.

If you are the boss of someone born during the year of the Zodaic Monkey Sign, you have to keep them interested. They HAVE to be constantly challenged. Why? Monkeys bore easily, they lose interest in the task at hand if that task is boring or repetitive. If you ask the Monkey to do the same thing over and over, day after day, they will grow bored and quit. Keep this in mind.

Socially, as I have stated above, Monkeys are very mischievous. They love to play pranks and tricks on their friends and family. If around a Monkey watch your back!! Monkeys cannot ever sit still. Don't go to a movie with a Monkey, they will talk and fidget the whole time. And, especially don't go to a movie with a Monkey if they have already seen the movie, they WILL spoil it for you. You see, Monkeys cannot keep secrets, it's against their nature. A secret told to the Monkey is common knowledge a few days later!

Romantically, Monkeys make great girlfriends or boyfriends. They tend to be compatible with most people. They are a whirl of emotion and activity. I can guarantee you, if dating a Monkey, you will never be bored!!

However, for the long term relationships like marriage, try to stay away from the Monkey. Just as they grow tired with the more mundane parts of life, they may become bored of the thought of staying with the same person, in the same place at the same job for the next 30 or 40 years. If considering marriage to a Monkey, I say to draw out the courtship, to make double sure Mr. Right (or Miss Right) is the person for you, and visa versa. It's better to have your heart broken early in the relationship, rather than after 10 years of marriage, 3 kids and a morgage!! A word to the wise, be careful of the Monkey!

However, if born under the Zodiac Monkey Sign, you are not compatible with the Tiger.
